In order to achieve the desired
surface roughness of cylinder bore,rough boring,semi-finish
boring,rough Levigatura,finish Levigatura is required.In recent years,extensive
research on new technology for cylinder bore Levigatura have been
conducted.This new technology are widely used and spread.This special
pattern has been made includes creating various”cross
hatch”or”sine curve”cratch patterns on
the finished bores.(The depth and angle of the cratch
pattern is vary depend upon superabrasive grit size,workpiece
material,operating speeds and feeds.)This pattern are thought to be
beneficial in the retaining of oil in the engine cylinder bores.

Processo
In order to obtain special texture of slots and platforms,rough
Levigatura,finish Levigatura,and plateau Levigatura are needed.Their functions are

Rough Levigatura:Getting the correct geometry of the bores,as well as the
desired surface roughness for the next Processo.
Finish Levigatura:Getting the basic platforms and symmetrical
intercross texture.
Plateau Levigatura:Generate a surface texture that has the benefits of a
smooth surface and the benefits of a rough surface
